Where We Are

Villa Kiydan apartments can be found in the picturesque village of Dalyan in South West Turkey.  Dalyan nestles alongside a river and is surrounded by lush green fields and spectacular mountain ranges.  Caunos mountain dominates the area, as do the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved into the mountainside.  The rock tombs are illuminated at night and are Dalyan’s most famous feature.

Upstream, the river leads to a beautiful freshwater lake (Lake Köyceğiz), where you can visit the local mudbaths and hot springs.  Downstream, it meanders through a reed-filled delta to the sea and the famous Turtle Beach conservation area – home of the protected Caretta Caretta turtles.  Overall, Dalyan provides a wonderful mix of history, culture, cuisine, breathtaking views, wildlife, water, sand and sea – all of the ingredients of a perfect holiday!

Our apartments are situated  close to the river in the quietest part of Dalyan.  It is only a short 5-10 minute walk along flat, well-lit roads to the town centre, where you will find all of the local amenities that you need.  There are ample bars and restaurants serving tradtional Turkish food, together with a good selection of supermarkets, a Post Office and a Bank.

There is a regular public boat service from town to the beach.  This also picks up passengers near Villa Kiydan if required.  Alternatively, you can take a Dolmus public minibus to the beach from the town centre on a wonderfully scenic route through some of the mountains close to the bay.

Our closest airport is Dalaman International, which handles flights from a wide range of airports and has regular arrivals throughout the main summer season.  Our rental prices include an airport welcoming service and free return airport transfers and since Dalyan is only a short 25 minute drive from the airport, you will very quickly find yourself settled into your apartment and relaxing beside our private pool.
